Election Results - May 2007

Thank you to all our candidates for their contribution to this election.

Congratulations to Jane Cousins who polled 327 votes in the Chaulden/Warners End Ward beating Labour. Martin Humphries with 280 votes in the Bovingdon/Chipperfield/Flaunden Wards was second to the Conservatives who won the seat. And our first ever candidate for Kings Langley Ward, Jenna Selby with a total of 254 votes beat Labour.

Our average vote per candidate was 193. Although we only stood in 12 of the 25 wards we obtained 2516 votes.

The Green Party gained many extra seats, including some in Leicester, Mid Suffold, Mid Beds, Nrwich, Rushcliffe, Waveney, Lancaster, Brighton, Wealden Forrest, Torridge, Herefordshire, Kirklees, Scarborough and Glasgow.
