Elections in Dacorum

On Thursday the 6th of May 2021 there will be elections in Dacorum for the Hertfordshire Police and Crime Commissioner and Hertfordshire County Council, these elections will set the priorities for both Policing and the County Council who are responsible in areas such as Social Care in Dacorum.

Dacorum Green Party are standing candidates for all Hertfordshire County Council seats. At a time when the towns and villages in Dacorum are under threat from massive levels of development, there needs to be a ‘Green in the Room’.

Our colleague Simon Grover, on St Albans City and District Council, has found that having a Green Councillor in the council encourages the political blocks to be more open to Green aware actions by working together. It isn’t just about recycling and planning for quick fixes that look good during election time!

That voice can make all the difference.
